Abstract
An increasing number of multilingual learners (ML) in U.S. schools requires prepared educators. Despite growing ML numbers, the number of qualified teachers lags behind. This article explores a university’s English as a Second Language teacher endorsement and a Young Adult Digital Literary Scrapbook assignment. These initiatives highlight integrating diverse literature and digital tools to enhance culturally responsive teaching in order to support MLs.
