Abstract
The church moves through Pentecost so quickly that it is difficult to do justice to the beauty and complexity of this moment of divine encounter. If we look past the cliché at the heart of many children’s sermons that Pentecost is the birthday of the church, there remain many significant avenues for theological reflection.
